General Discussion
On Sunday, or what Quakers call "First Day", we had a Meeting for Worship with contributions from Friends that will stay with me throughout the week and maybe beyond! Beginning with macro and micro thoughts of God- what is god? If there is that of God in all of us and in every being, animate and inanimate , which are all creations, does that make us all the same? Are not so much of one another that we are one beating entity? If I pray for my own happiness and health does it make it easier to see that I am praying for people with whom I also disagree or with whom I struggle. Suddenly prayer opens its wings and covers us all. A soil chemist among us taught us that we have quite a bit in common with the soil. From earth we come and to earth we will return. How do you pray? How is your soul at ease?
